July 2/17 last year, I had myself 4, yes,4 heart attacks in 2 hrs in Chateauguay. Got to Anna Laberge Hospital, got stabilized, shot full of fentanol, but they couldnt do anything for me there, so back in the ambulance and rushed to Pierre Boucher. I dont remember much, but I do remember the nurses and doctors absolutely running to get me in surgery. I was in such bad shape, main artery blocked 96%, and the pain...excruciating. I awoke in the operating room, coming to and the cardiac surgeon telling me that it was done and a success, that they just were pulling out the gadget that put 2 stents in my heart when, right on the table, I had another heart attack, no B.S., and I remember the doc almost yelling for the cardiac team to get back to the operating table. I went out again and they put in the 3rd stent. Stayed in I.C.U. just one day while they watched for any reactions, cause they went 2 times in the heart, but thankfully, it was ok. No infection or temperature or blood pressure problems. That Team and Surgeon saved my life and the nursing staff were A-1 in looking after me while I was there. Best ER experience! Used to live in Cote Des Neiges and the ER of all the hospitals were nightmares... Went twice to Pierre Boucher and it was reasonable.

Worst emergency room Ive experimented. The wait is insane and there are 3 MDs on shift. The process is very slow, inefficient on a lot of levels. You could try to blame it on ambulances coming in, but there were barely any. Staff is nice and patient, but powerless. I should not have listened to the MD that gave me the prescription and told me to come here saying it would be quicker since she works here...
